Andy Vogel is a Retirement Advisor at RetireWise Tax and Wealth Advisors, Inc., serving clients in Topeka and Manhattan, Kansas. Having grown up around the financial industry, Andy was inspired by his father’s dedication to serving clients—planting a desire early on to one day make a meaningful impact in people’s lives as a financial advisor himself. He is passionate about helping individuals and families build financial security, giving them the freedom and confidence to pursue the life they desire.
Before joining the financial services industry, Andy spent 20 years working with Young Life, a ministry focused on mentoring and walking alongside young people. That experience shaped his heart for people and his desire to build lasting, trust-filled relationships—values that continue to define his work today.
For Andy, the most fulfilling part of his work is building trusting relationships with clients and developing all-encompassing financial plans that bring clarity to their entire financial world. He is driven by a desire to serve his clients with excellence and to continuously grow alongside the incredible team at RetireWise.
Outside of work, Andy’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Angelyn, and their three children, Lincoln, Ellie, and Addie. Coaching his kids’ sports teams over the years has been one of his most cherished experiences. He is also deeply involved in his church, Fellowship Bible Church, and continues to support the ministry of Young Life. A lifelong learner, Andy enjoys reading and exploring new ideas that help him grow personally and professionally.
Zach Hogan is a Retirement Advisor at RetireWise Tax and Wealth Advisors, Inc., serving clients in Topeka, Kansas. His passion for financial planning stems from a desire to help people enjoy lasting financial stability and confidence. Zach takes a client-first approach, focusing on building trusting relationships and developing holistic financial plans that support each client’s unique goals and dreams.
Zach’s journey into financial services began in college, where a mentor sparked his interest in finance and investing. After earning his finance degree from the University of Kansas, he worked as a business consultant for financial advisors, ultimately inspiring him to become an advisor himself. Today, he draws on those experiences to help clients navigate retirement planning with clarity and purpose.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys hiking with his dog, tackling DIY car and home projects, and watching sports. Health and wellness are important parts of his life, and he brings that same balanced, thoughtful approach to the work he does for his clients.
Zeb Elliott is a Retirement Advisor at RetireWise Tax and Wealth Advisors, Inc. Zeb grew up in a small town and from an early age learned the value of hard work and serving others in his community. He is passionate about helping clients live a more peaceful life, enjoying the activities and people they love most.
Zeb began his career in public accounting at Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP as a Senior Tax Advisor in 2011. In 2019, he transitioned to Bettis Companies as a division controller. He considers himself fortunate to have worked for reputable firms, gaining experience that allows him to serve RetireWise clients with the utmost care and professionalism.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2010 and later obtained a Master of Accountancy in 2014 from Kansas State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has passed the Series 65 – Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam.
Outside of work, Zeb enjoys spending time with his wife Kilynn and their three sons: Kannen, Kycen, and Kohen. He finds great fulfillment coaching them in various sports and values the opportunity to pass on his knowledge and values to the next generation. If he’s not on the gridiron, hardwood, or diamond, you’ll often find him on the golf course or enjoying an active, healthy lifestyle.
Kimberly joined RetireWise in February 2020 and currently serves as Director of Operations. In this role, she oversees the firm’s day to day operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and that the team has the resources and support needed to provide an exceptional client experience. She also works closely with clients on life insurance and annuity servicing, offering personalized assistance with a strong commitment to care, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Prior to joining RetireWise, Kimberly built a successful career in the medical field before stepping away to focus on raising her family. When she was ready to return to the workforce, she embraced a new opportunity in the retirement planning industry and found fulfillment in supporting clients and contributing to a team focused on making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She especially values the lasting relationships formed with clients and takes pride in being part of a team dedicated to helping people achieve greater confidence and security in retirement.
Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time on the water boating and fishing with family and friends. She is also a devoted soccer mom and can often be found on the sidelines enthusiastically cheering on her daughters at their games and tournaments.
Travis Jantz grew up in Copeland, Kansas, and now calls Olathe home with his wife Brooke. Their three kids, Emma, Carter, and Maddie, are all grown and out in the world, which means Travis has earned a little more time for the things he loves: guitars, vintage amps, craft beer, and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks.
Travis brings thirty years of experience analyzing market economics to his work at RetireWise. Over that time, he watched the Vogels apply genuine diligence and care to his own planning, and it sparked a desire to help others receive that same level of attention. He’s seen firsthand what successful financial planning can do for a family and what the absence of it can cost, and that perspective shapes how he shows up for every client.
As a Planning Advisor, Travis works alongside the team to build financial plans tailored to each client’s needs, with the goal of making sure retirement isn’t just possible, but solid. He’s drawn to the relationship side of the work as much as the technical side and genuinely enjoys meeting new people and earning their trust.
When he’s not working through a financial plan, Travis is likely on the golf course, following Rory McIlroy or watching Ferrari navigate an F1 circuit, or listening to anything from Brad Paisley to Avenged Sevenfold to John Coltrane. His ideal trip involves beaches with good company, a hiking trail, or a city worth exploring.
Tyler Feist is a Topeka native who’s stayed close to home and built a life he loves there. He and his wife Katie are raising two daughters, Paisley and Corrie, and when the workday winds down, you’ll often find the family on an evening walk around the neighborhood.
Tyler’s path to the financial services industry runs through an accounting background and a phone call that changed his trajectory. When the opportunity to join RetireWise came through the Vogels, he trusted them, made the leap, and hasn’t looked back. With his accounting foundation, Tyler knew he wanted work that went beyond numbers and into real relationships, and retirement planning turned out to be exactly that fit.
As a Client Service Advisor, Tyler handles account management while increasingly expanding into income and tax planning for clients. His goal is to keep growing in that direction, spending more time delivering the kind of thoughtful planning that makes a tangible difference for people navigating retirement.
Away from the office, Tyler is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys golf, boating, and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks and Chiefs. His music taste leans toward folk and indie artists like Noah Kahan and Mumford & Sons, and his ideal getaway is simple: a relaxed beach town in Florida or a quiet mountain town in Colorado.
Sarah Vincent grew up in Silver Lake, Kansas, and has planted her roots just down the road in Topeka. She’s mom to three daughters, Caitlyn, Bella, and Grace, plus Bianca, a three-year-old pit bull mix who rounds out the household nicely.
Sarah came to financial services through an administrative role with an FMO, where she quickly moved beyond the desk and into new business operations, building a working knowledge of the industry from the ground up. What kept her there was simple: she saw firsthand the difference that solid financial planning can make for a family, and the cost when it’s absent. That awareness shapes how she shows up every day.
As a Client Service Advisor, Sarah supports the advisor team by managing client service tasks, processing new business, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. Her goal is to clear as many operational hurdles as possible so advisors can focus their time on what matters most: building and executing meaningful plans for clients.
What motivates her most is being present for clients when life takes an unexpected turn. Whether a family is navigating loss, a health challenge, or a major career change, Sarah knows that having a plan in place makes those moments more manageable, and being part of that support system is what she finds most rewarding about the work.
Outside the office, Sarah is a U.S. Army veteran, a women’s volleyball referee, and a collector of message t-shirts. Her sports loyalties span the Yankees, the Saints, Nebraska volleyball, and USA Gymnastics.
Kailyn Walton grew up in Arkansas City, Kansas, and now calls Manhattan home, which suits her just fine given her deep love for K-State. When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her baking, spoiling her baby niece, or spending time with family and friends.
Kailyn came to RetireWise with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from K-State and a background that also includes dental assisting, giving her an early foundation in client-facing work and the kind of attention to detail that carries over into everything she does.
As Client Experience Coordinator, Kailyn is often the first voice clients hear and the first face they see. She guides people through the office experience by phone and in person, schedules and prepares meetings for the advisor team, and makes sure everything is organized and ready to go each day. Her goal is to make every client feel genuinely welcomed and at ease from the moment they walk through the door.
Outside the office, Kailyn roots hard for the Wildcats and the Cowboys, listens to pop and country, and is happiest somewhere with a beach or a good amusement park nearby.
Keila Cushinberry is a proud Topeka native who brings warmth, energy, and a deep sense of care to everything she does. She and her husband, Michael, are raising three children, Makayla, Julius, and Cristian, and family is at the center of her world.
With more than a decade of experience in hospitality and an AAS in Hospitality Management, Keila naturally carries a service-first mindset into her role. As the first point of contact for clients, she focuses on creating a welcoming environment and ensuring every person feels seen, valued, and supported. She understands the impact thoughtful financial planning can have on a family’s future and takes pride in contributing to that experience.
Outside of work, Keila is an avid audiobook listener who hit 106 reads in a single year and shows no signs of slowing down. Her curiosity runs wide, and she has a particular love for documentaries covering history, ancestry, animals, physics, and space.
When she’s not listening or learning, she’s likely on the road with her family, fitting in several short trips each year along with an annual long-haul visit to loved ones. For Keila, the perfect getaway isn’t about the destination, it’s about being together.
Breckyn Carpenter grew up in Udall, Kansas, and still calls the Sunflower State home, now settled in Burlingame with her husband Stetson, their son Nahzir, and two wonderfully weird rescue mutts. Theirs is a basketball household through and through.
As Experience Coordinator, no two days look alike. Breckyn oversees mass communications, client events, social media, and the full guest experience, writing blog content one afternoon and scouting the perfect office scent the next. She’s the person making sure every touchpoint feels intentional and welcoming.
Outside the office, Breckyn has coached club volleyball for years and is an avid (if still hopeful) bread baker chasing the perfect loaf. She’s working her way through all 50 states, just crossed Greece off the list, and is currently plotting a trip through Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales, with a 100-mile hike through the Cotswolds on the horizon. You’ll likely find her fueled by Dr. Pepper and a good book somewhere in between.
